"Geh mal Bier holen” (“Get some beer!“) is a cashier system, especially developed for the unique requirements of non-profit associations festivals and tent parties. Our cashier system is designed to take up orders remotely via wi-fi or mobile data and directly send them to printers located in kitchens and counters. This enables cooks and barkeepers to instantly start preparing the order. With the table number included to the order, waiters can bring the food to the right table as soon as it’s fully prepared. Most of the time non-profit associations have to rely on volunteers to work on their events, but many of them don’t have any experience in waitressing. So we tackled this issue by providing a simple user interface and optimized the overall workflow. There is no to minimal need for enroll the staff into our system. The waitresses and waiters can easily take orders with our system on tablets, smartphones or any device which is capable of running a browser. That’s possible because we totally built “Geh mal Bier holen” upon web technologies. The organiser can easily adapt the event, e.g. by adding waiters and waitresses, changing the product choice, categories or table orders. An overview over sells by items, categories and time gives insights over the event and provides advice and improvements for upcoming events.
