Power Pirate

This is my first conceptual photography project for the class „Staged Photography“ with lecturer Andrew Phelps. Shot in summer 2021 with help of Luca Mathies and Marlene Markt on Fujifilm X100V and iMac FaceTime HD camera. My concept consists of not using our easy accessible everyday cameras like smartphones but to choose the most unhandy object with a camera. So I decided to carry my iMac through Salzburg for one day to take pictures. The real challenge was getting power for the iMac to work, so I asked at several places and luckily all of them gave me permission. I had 35 metres of cable with me. Personally I see this photo project as a performance, it was exhausting but also very exciting, to look for power sources at the desired scene.
